Well, I had my hen party yesterday and it was absolutely fab.

I was told to be ready for 5.00pm as some of the girls were coming round to my house for a quick drink at about 5.10. I was still sticking on my false nails when they arrived, but managed to be the hostess and serve up wine and vodka and coke (not in the same glass). About 20 past there was a call on my Aunty's mobile, so she went and answered it and came back saying that we're ready to go. I presumed it was the taxi company doing call back. So, we all start to leave the house and as I got to the front door was told to close my eyes. I was escorted outside and had to keep my eyes closed. I thought it seemed a lot of fuss for a taxi, but perhaps it was going to be decorated or something. I was getting a bit nervous and told everyone that if a stripper turned up I was going back in the house!! Anyway, after what seemed like an hour, I was allowed to open my eyes. And there it was, right in front of me - a big fat hummer limo wooooo hooooooo. I got a bit teary and realised that my mum and friends from the other end of town were in it too. Mum had organised it for me.

We went on a 20 minute detour into Chester (usually takes about 10 mins) which gave us time to enjoy a glass of champers. As we drove through the town I started waving at the people and giving them the thumbs up (classy), and loads of them were nice enough to wave back (this is what it feels like to be royalty).

I popped into the bar to see if my sister in law was there, and all my friends and colleagues were waiting for me. They came out to have a look at my transport!!

So, we chatted, drank, ate and played stand up bingo. Last one standing won - my number was called out first so I was the first out (I thought it would have been fixed for me to win hmmpphhhh)

As the night continued, some of the girlies started going home, so the die hards ended up being left.

The dancing and jumping around finally took it's toll on my little feet, but with a bit of forward planning I was able to continue minus the heels

So, the clock struck 12.30 and cinders decided she'd have to call it a night (or a taxi), leaving the ugly sisters dancing the night away. (I'm 35 next week and don't seem to have the staying power as I'm usually in bed for 10.30!), although I did manage a brew and choccie bar before bed yummy.

Anyway, up this morning at 7am, bright and breezy and been doing finishing wedding touches. Can't say the same about many of my friends, worse for wear this morning seems to be an understatement ha, ha.
