My mum was really disappointed when she heard she wasn't invited, as was my MIL to be!! I can understand them not wanting to be left out, but they really wouldn't enjoy it.

My hen weekend is just friends and my sister - but the night before I go away for the weekend, I'm planning on organising a meal with bridesmaids and both mothers.

My mum will be here then as we're getting our wedding hair done together that morning!!

I didn't have the hen night I wanted, mostly due to my being broke by then, but my MOH did an amazing job of organising the night out I did have.
I had friends, relatives and work colleagues there, but noone from Russ' side.
If I could have my time over i'd just bugger off with my best friend for the weekend.

My Mum is most definitely coming on my Hen Do, she's brilliant and I know she'll just get on with it and have a good time. Going to invite MIL too.

My proper hen weekend will just be a very select few, BM's, best mates etc. Then will probably have meal/night out nearer the wedding (and nearer home) for the general rabble - maybe joint hen and stag at this point.

My hen doo is next weekend. We are going to Cambridge & doing dirty dancing followed by an Italian meal & then hitting the pubs & clubs! My mum & MIL will not be coming but I am having a big meal out for 30 of us a fortnight after for all my aunts, mum MIL and anyone else who couldn't make the Cambridge one!! Can't wait! x

Ooh my hen do is in 2 weeks,2nd April and it's a secret (from me) what we're doing - I'm really looking forward to it and it's lovely not having to worry about planning it at all. I'm so grateful to my girls. (I did sort of say beforehand what I DIDN'T want to do, so I'm quite relaxed it won't be anything I wouldn't like!) Hooray

It was brilliant thank you Becky.
Went so fast though!!! Was a teeny bit dissapointed that some people wanted to go back to bed at 1am and we all ended up doing what they wanted which now I wish I had stood my ground & let them go back if they want & stay out with my sisters but hey worse things in life happen!! Having a meal this Sat for everyone that couldn't make the one in Cambridge like my mum & aunts etc that didn't want to come as are not into clubbing & dirty dancing etc which I totally understand.
Also the dance we learned at the hen do we are doing at the wedding!! lol lol lol going to be so funny but no one knows, not even Mark, just us girls. We are going to get up & do it in the evening. Will be a great laugh I think even if we are really bad lol.

Its a dirty dancing mix will put a link up to the video of us dancing on the hen do. Don't laugh to hard though as you can just see me fluff it right up & have to wait ages to catch back up lol. Its mainly on the instructor though as was cheeky & filmed her doing it so we could all bring it home & practice xxx
