Whats your colour scheme???

Mine is blush!!! i just love it.....fresh!

But believe it or not..........................................i HATE pink with a passion! lol xx :lol:

 

I tend to avoid pink too but am having an ivory dress and muted shades of dusky pink and sage green for my bridesmaid and MOH.

 

Mine is fuschia pink.....chosen by my bridesmaids and I would never have gone for pink lol but I actually love the colour so bright and summery. x

 

Isn't it funny how us non-pink girlies end up with pink?

I am having deep purple, not the cadbury purple, more a plummy purple. Though not worried too much about matching things and am having pale pink flowers

 

Oooh all sounds wonderful. Mine are Teal & Cerise so another Pink one but I love the colour pink xxx

 

Black and white for me, with a hint of red. I'm also having a little lime green in the flowers to freshen things up a bit.

 

Up until about a year ago I would have said that everything would have been pink at my wedding but I've changed quite a lot and am having black, gold and white!
I did try and get away with wearing my black skinny jeans and leather knee high boots instead of a dress but apparently that's a big no no.....

 

I'm having deep/plum purple too... Its hard to match when all different companies have different names for the same colour! It's eggplant in someplaces and plum in another... Argh!!
Also having ivory and a dash of pink too.

I'm pretty girly so most people thought I was going to have pink, but as it's an autumn wedding I thought purple would be better and now can't get enough of it!!

I gave up trying to match ages ago!! Mainly because I forgot to take the sample to the bridesmaid dress shop so we just choose a purple we liked. Now I cant remember the colour I choose for their dresses.. ops!! (it is a shade of purple though!!)

 

I'm still trying to decide mmmmmm!!!! I think I will have more of an idea when I start trying dresses on( I just want my mates to get there bloomin act together and agree on a date !) I can't do pink though thats reserved for my best friend, she is girlier than a girly girl ha ha, she has always wanted pink so I dont want to step on her wedding bubble! You are giving me lots of ideas though thanks x

 

Know what you mean about everyone having different opinions of colours. Everyone has a different idea of Teal. I have been getting lots of fabric samples as having dresses made yet I have been sent only 1 of what I would say is teal other have been...mint green, turquoise & bottle green!!! , nevermind its all good fun xxx

 

Dark blue & pewter, being Ian's favourite colours

 

We're having shades of lilac and purple. My bridesmaid dress is a really unusual irridesant lilac/purple and grooms waitcoat is lilac but flowers are going to have lilac, purple, pink and ivory...all pastle shades really but nothing specifically matching.

 

That is the problem though isn't it, there are so many names for colours these days and every company calls different colours different names, how are you supposed to match anything?

Oh the luxury of 66 days Mrs_B...... I'm ignoring the reminder that mines now only 45 days away, i'm hoping it'll stick there until i'm a bit more organised, I can dream can't I???
Don't worry about the pics, if you get stuck either one of the brides or Ian and Becky will be able to help!
