I just saw this article - what a change this lady has made, she looks amazing!

Morbidly obese mother shamed into losing EIGHT STONE after bedtime story disaster

8 stone in just one year is quite dramatic though, you often hear stories about quick weight loss leading to weight being put back on once the person stops the diet plan. I hope she manages to keep it up - she looks fantastic! It sounds like it has made a massive difference to the lives of her and her daughter (and no doubt her husband as well), good for her.

It's pretty unsustainable but an achievement

I've hear many of these weight regain stories as well. That's essentially what happened to everyone on that weight loss show "The Biggest Loser" where they all lost weight really quickly, but eventually gained it all back. I have my wedding day this year and still need to lose 7-8kg so I decided to work with a professional personal training in Edinburgh. I'm working with JCfitness, who specialise in body transformation and I had a close friend work with them for her wedding weight loss preparation. A really interesting area of weight loss they focus on is the movement I get outside of the gym, like at work or just walking around. They said that by increase the number of steps I take each day, I can increase the energy I expend and ultimately lose more weight. Really interesting when I heard this. Anyway, i'v already lost 3.5kg, so not much to go! Thought this might be a useful tip!
