I'll third the pictures request - love seeing what everyone else is doing/ has done! Sounds great. :)

We didn't want a rigid seating plan, so we're allocating each person a table, and then eveyone can sort themselves out from there.
I was thinking of a way to mark the places on the top table, (so the best man and his ugly eating habits are out of my view) and I found these great sheriffs badges. It's a shame they only make them for male members of the party, but I've also found old fashioned prefect badges for myself and my MOH, so we won't miis out. My fiance and his mates are such geeks i'll know they'll love them, although they may not admit it! I'm going to ask the venue to put them out when they're setting the tables for dinner.

All the plans sound really good, loving th Alice in Wonderland theme.

Don't think I'm gonna have a theme as such, but gonna try and tie all the colours together though our table linen and chair covers are black and the sash is silver, so not sure what colours will be best.

We've accidentally adopted a Scottish theme - initially, the theme would only have stretched to my fiancĂ©'s kilt outfit, but it seems to have crept its way into the flowers, invitations and colour scheme! As such, I'm going to take what I perceive as a slight 'risk' and put my bridesmaids in a pewter grey colour scheme. I've still yet to find out how my picky sister feels about it.. [IMG]

Hello DrLove and welcome to the site. I think Pewter grey looks fab what other colours/flowers are you having? I'm having images of purples and heathers but could be completely wrong.

Let us know how things are going when is the big day?

Hi DrLove, welcome to the site!
I too really like pewter grey, my step daughter to be who is holding the rings was almost going to wear pewter and it looked lovely.
Do you have any pics of your dress etc?

Pewter is a great idea! My colours will be dark blue with pewter. Looking forward to hearing about your planning (and seeing some pics!)

They're great, mind you I'm biased as i'm a huge marvel/dc comic fan!
If it helps I just showed them to my 14 year and his response was 'SWEET!' That's a huge complement by the way, he didn't even grunt it!

Well funnily enough he has this most annoying habit of yapping constantly, (at me, not to me) whilst playing war games on the Wii - guess what the little darling is playing, yep, war games on the Wii. He's sat right next to me too, don't know what he's muttering about half the time! Bless him, he'd normally be in bed by now as he gets so tired but as there's no school tomorrow we don't care - though he better let me watch 4 weddings from last night!
