Well I had been searching for wedding invitations for ages but the other half was being so fussy about what he wanted so as he draws alot and we wanted something slightly tattoo themed my reply was "well you bloody design them then!".... so he did and this is what he came up with... i quite like the fact that they look hand drawn and i didnt want to mess them around in photoshop too much as that was the look he wanted too. So i thought i'd just share the design with you, they are 5X7" and double side, fairly simple really but its actually helped keep the printing costs down, i was quoted £65 + vat for 100 of the wedding invites and 100 of the evening invites (evening invites are the same but different text on the back)

    what do you guys think?

Congratulations. i like tatoos so the theme is great. Also I believe that hand made invitations give that personal touch often missed when ordering elsewhere.

    Love your design :)

(Have you seen the handbag by Littlearth, I think it is called true love, in a very similar design? I've had my eye on it for ages!)

That looks brilliant, you have a very talented H2B!! :D I love that they look hand-drawn too, it adds a gorgeous personal touch to them

I think the second page would look better with a different font - have you tried any others?

i tried them with a slightly fancier font but it looked a bit cluttered with the watermark behind it, but one i get the proof i'll have a proper look

I got my proofs through today and they look great! even better than i thought... so i've paid for them and they wuill be here by middle of next week.

After working it all out it turns out that they are cheaper than ordering invites from somewhere like confetti... even better! ;)

    Sez, I LOVE it!

I really love things that are personal to the couple and lovely that your hubby to be drew it, i'm biased though as i'm a bit of a tattoo junkie!

I made our invites, they were black which is unusual but very me!
