    Hello all!

We want to make our own favours by buying ready-to-assemble boxes, the ribbons and something to go inside of them. Rather than buying online - as I like to see what I buy first - I'm looking for places in and around Manchester that stock these kind of things. Does anyone know of anything? I've been to paperchase but their boxes are already made and quite steep (i.e. £8 for 12!!) and I've seen online that you can get boxes for less than 20p each sometimes.

    So, anyone got any recommendations?

    Thanks!

    Salma x

Yes indeed I have, but at this point in time I want to try shopping offline so I can properly view and touch my intended purchases! I've bought a lot of things online before that haven't looked nearly as good when they've been delivered!! And I can't have sub standard favours at my wedding you know :) :) !!! (hopefully I'm obviously not that much of a bitch actually, just a bit Hyacinth Bucket!!)

Thanks hun, yes they take time but just do about 5 of an evening. That way you can take time on each one and they are not rushed & the last few don't look rubbish as you get to the stage where you can't be bothered if you do them all in one go lol!!! I do the same with my xmas cards I start in Nov & do a few each night otherwise I end up just scrawling them & it looks like Ryan has done it :):lol:xx

if you like the two above we got similar ones that the pound shop had in and then you could decorate them like Mrsg did. Think there is a pic on my planning thread - they are 10 for a pound in poundland.

Hehe thanks!! I also got my invitations yesterday (hand made by my mum's friend!) so also on the lookout for paper to print out the invites on to stick inside. I should really post a photo but no time right now... I'll report back with my findings!!

We went to Paper Mill in Salford Quays at the weekend (in the Lowry Outlet) - it was great! You could get a whole box of paper/card for £4 which was a bargain. You could get whatever colours and finishes you wanted - brilliant! :)

So much for payday :) for some reason I've not been paid, although neither has my manager which is kind of reassuring, it means it isn't just me!

No shiny paper for me today
