I was talking to a few of you ladies the other day about having the purple theme at my venue, and you asked me to post pictures after me and h2b went to visit it again on saturday. I didnt take pics, because the colour looked waaaay too dark and more of a wintry colour. We want something abit more light and airy. We both liked the green colour they had on the tables when we went to an open evening in April, so we could go for that? Otherwise, its back to the drawing board!

hi.. I was trying to work out what time of year you are getting married from your ticker... I think it's August?

Green would be a lovely colour, for a summery wedding .. you could throw in another colour... maybe a pale green and lemon ..

    green & yellow mood boards

or a turquoise instead of green.. so something a little more vibrant....

i agree green is a lovely summery colour, actually i think green can be used in most seasons if not all just different shades of green.

green is my favourite colour, anyway, so i'll sound biassed, but yes, go for green.

if you love purple, there's no reason why you can't have random purple flowers or ribbons - especially if you have white flowers andtable cloths etc.

then the green can also be the foliage/leaves.

Green is a lovely colour, there's lots you can do with it too re the flowers etc just adding hints of colour, I was originally going to have purple, but different shades of it like one bridesmaid in lilac another in deep purple etc, but I've changed my mind and now I don't know what I want :)

I like the idea of the green with white flowers and maybe a hint of a bright colour thrown in (I love pink, but dont think h2b will go for that idea, he thinks it will look too girly!) x

Have you asked h2b what colours he would like? Sometimes if you sit together & google pics of the flowers you like they look much different to how you can imagine it. My h2b wasn't sure about the cerise with the teal we are having but after showing him pics online he saw it wasn't go to be a barbie inspired day (yuck, no offence intended to anyone) but very bright & vibrant and classy so you never know. Sit him down with a beer & google those pink flowers ;) xxx

Both myself and H2b like the green with the white flowers (it's the one thing we can both agree on! lol) I would just like a bright colour added into the mix, as we both like bright colours! He thinks the pink will look too girly, I might google it like you suggested mrsg2b2011! x

Depends what sort of bright you're thinking either proper turquoise bright or maybe a duck egg blue paler bright! I hope that makes sense.... :D

Just to add to confusion... have you thought about Tiffany Blue? Really light and is more a mix of green and blue...! Would really lighten the room, especially if you mixed with ivroy...

Hope that helps and doesn't hinder!
