I'm jumping on the band wagon: it's lovely to see everybody's planning with the pictures all in one place!

    Here goes:

invitations, handmade by my big sis

a mock up of my dress (i know it looks funny, but I'm not very good in photoshop and it gives you a little idea! [IMG] )

the dress that is my inspiration

the shoes: the green parts of my dress will be these colours.

    Thanks!
I'm having huge problems getting the bodice right: I've sorted out how to get the weave, but I seem to have a gape at the cleavage!

All looks great! You are brave making your own dress I'd get too annoyed when I stitched the wrong bit lol. I made my oh some curtains not long after we met and I wasn't sure how big the window was so I made each curtain a different length... then they stayed like that for two years before I finished them off lol!

    heehee! [IMG]

I'm very, very used to stitching things wrong! it doesn't bother me as long a i don't accidentally rip the fabric. [IMG]

i'm not sure how long it'll take me to get bored of it, though; i'm on my second toile of the bodice, have made the alterations to the pattern and am about to start cutting out the 3rd lot of fabric! thank god i've got loads of cheap fabric lying around for trials! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

i've no idea how long it'll take, but according to the counter on this page, i've got 92 days till the wedding, so it had better not take more than that!

i'm giving it about an hour a day, with a few hours on sundays, at the moment, so hopefully, it won't take too long...

this little flower is the first flower from the dianthus plant, that I hope to be able to use in my bouquet. We bought 4 each of a fiery Gallardia (not yet in flower) and this dianthus.

funny thing is, I have the same thought the opposite way round! I could never attempt to make my own tiara! I'd look like i'd got a bird's nest on my head! [IMG]

okay, just got a delivery of stuff for my kids' busy bags.

the older ones will get a wordsearch & dot-to-dot book, a snake, a pack of felt tips.
the babies will get a board book (and a toy when i can find something i like: has to be really really cheap!)

    here's pics:
