    I SPENT £60!!!!!!!!
Russ was supoosed to be keeping track of what we were spending on his phone, but he lost count after about 3 lots.
We have mints, toffees, chocolates, lollies, cola cubes, milk bottles and all sorts of stuff!
However much I'd like to get some boxes of retro sweets, I really don't think I need to now.
I have put all the roses, quality street and chocolate eclairs in the most ENORMOUS goldfih bowl vase. It's not even half full!
I might set everything out again later and take another pic.

We're also having kola kubes, black jacks, normal cola bottles and jazzies and we have to get more parma violets. I just hope now that the tables in our venue will be big enough! lol!

Welsh bride that looks fab, wish we were having one now but the budget won't stretch to that although they are getting love hearts for favours and candy necklaces as napkin rings so a few retro sweets!

FB - your table sounds like it going to be fab as well and can't wait for pics of it filled it looked great empty and loved the "wafer thin mint" lettering - it's going to be great, good luck not eating all your sweets before the big day both of you!

Think I might be joining you Ju, I keep getting a mixture of envy and annoyance that my super cool original guest book idea is no longer original as it has turned up in every wedding mag that I have read over the last few months!

We have bought a polaroid printer (it uses sticky backed papers that are bought 3" x 2") so that people can take a pic of them selves, stick it in the book and then write a comment. And it is in them all - well they suggest a polaroid camera! It does make me chuckle a bit too - It normally appears in the save money section and they obviously haven't checked the prices of a polaroid camera and the cartridges (new or old or ebay - all ridiculously priced!) we got the printer with 20 papers for about £15 from amazon and can get another 100 papers for about the same price and I have made the guest book which cost about £3!

Love sharing on here but annoying when your great original idea appears in all wedding mags - doesn't look original any more! - Oh well no-one else is having a green screen and that's never been suggested yet! (should've kept quiet!) :(B)

I am very jealous of the greenscreen idea!

When I look at everything Russ and I have planned, I'm not sure anything we've done is that original, but then, how many of the guests will have read as many wedding magazines as I have!!!

Here's another pic of our table with sweets.
I've left anything that doesn't come with wrappers in their bags for now.
The symmetry has gone out of the window a bit. I couldn't actually fit all the jars on our coffee table!

Brilliant! How can you be in the same room without eating any? I'd be thinking, 'oh, just one of them, no-one will notice' time and time again, probably until i'd eaten the majority! It would be like Japanese (or is it Chinese) water torture for Jakob.

All the sweets are now packed up in an Ikea bag, except for the roses and quality street. I need to keep them somewhere cool but I 'm not really sure where. I caught Russ sneaking a few out of the jar this morning.

WOW FB that looks great - I think loads of your wedding plans are original and great and they sound like they really relate to the 2 of you as a couple, and I think your sweetie table words are very original. We all have very unique weddings even if we all have some of the same aspects we all have our own different take on things to make it fitting to each couple.

P.S if you have the computer software to add the backgrounds - all you need is a couple of green throws stitched together (about £5.98 for 2 ikea) and your welcome to use the idea!
