We're getting married in Michigan in May, we're awaiting K-1 visa as I'll be emmigrating. The dress plan is to wait until I get over there(estimate Jan/Feb) & go sample sale dress shopping with my Fiancé's sister......I have a solid idea of what I want from a dress (plain material, full back, trumpet style) & to date I've not seen many that come close to fitting my brief, so when I spotted a gown by Ronald Joyce that ticks all my boxes & it's now turned up as a sample on eBay within my budget.....it's really hard to restrain myself from putting in an offer....it's in my size but a tad on the long side & I can't try it on.

Somebody please talk some sense into me before I blow £500 on something I've only seen some photos of online.

Oh, I've only just seen this! Did you go for it in the end?

Generally speaking, I think it's quite important to try on a variety of styles because you never quite know what you might like in real life. I went for a style of dress that I hadn't even thought about before! Have you tried on any dresses yet? It might help you narrow down your search.

    Hi Becky.
I've been very well behaved & not bought it. I'm booked in a couple of places next Tuesday to try some dresses on-will let you know how I get on :D
