we have done most of the planing now thankfully, i have even picked a stationery design at last.

so to begin we booked our church the beautiful St Illtud's Church in Llantwit Major
    StIlltyds.jpg

then we started looking around for our reception venue, it took us a while as we wanted somewhere that would only do one wedding a day and we are having family only meal and then everybody to the evening. in the end we picked St Mary's hotel and golf club

this is the room where we will be having our wedding breakfast

and the top table will be by the clock

    the views outside

in this one you can just see into the room where we are having evening do could not get any good pictures of it there was a wedding fair going on

the huge decked area, if the weather is nice it will be a good place for people to sit and chat away from the music

    now on to the dresses
there is already a picture of my dress on her somewhere, i now need to get it taken in by 2inches because the gallstones are stopping me from eating anything yummy and naughty.

this is my moh in her dress

i have got some creamy ribbon that matches my daughters dress and i am going to use it to make the dress into a halter neck dress this is a rough example the ribbon is just pinned in place

It all looks fab - and at least there is a plus side to the gallstones! (at least that's what I am trying to tell myself) forgot what a cutie your little one is. Hope your attacks are starting to settle, forgot to ask have they not given you anything for the pain? I am on diclafenic (started on 3 a day, then told to only take it when I had pain but ended up in A&E twice in 3 days getting pethidine injections so am back on 3 a day regardless of pain), seem to be holding it off mostly, even when I succumbed to beer and pizza the other night. Think you are right about the alcohol thing as have eaten a few naughty things while having a few drinks an been fine, although the alcohol doesn't help the weight loss! xx

they have given me some strong painpills but i really cant stand them they make me woozy the next day and i need to look after Abi so i only take them when i really need to, so far this week i have had two attacks i will soon be living off lettuce leaves[IMG].
I had my pre-surgery assessment on Monday so as long as everything comes back okay i will be getting a date for my surgery 'in the near future'.

A pint a day keeps the pain away lol[IMG]

]car and photographer are now booked yay. I think that is all of the big things done.

so here is our car, she is called Millie, it will be interesting to see how she handles the old roads of Llantwit
    SDC12212.JPG

and our photographer is Andrew Davis, he is a friend of Gareth's so we are getting everything we want for about £350 less than he normally charges

So that is everything apart from the stationery which i keep forgetting to take a picture of

My mil thinks that since i am now trying to get the dress that might cost a bit much that i should not dress my two adult bridesmaids in dresses that cost £14 each. Me i dont mind they like them they look good in them and they are bargain on sale and since i only budgeted for one bridesmaid to begin with i think this is a good deal. The dress dont look cheap and i want to tweak them anyways by adding some cream ribbon.

Plus i am struggling to find dress that we all like that dont cost the Earth. Why are bridesmaid dresses so expensive?

    What do you ladies think?

i think if you can have the 2 bm's that you wanted and dress them for £28 and they both look great then why not! Go for it I say!
