It's my sil2b wedding in a couple of months and I have been having a terrible time trying to find something to wear. I have found a dress I love but nt sure if it will be ok as it is white with coloured flowers on, wondered if you lovely ladies could give me your opinions please.

    Dress in question

What do you think? I would have blue accesories. Thanks in advance.

I think it is lovely, I know some people worry about wearing white, but there is so much blue in it

    Go for it!

If you're wearing a blue necklace then there is going to be lots of colour so it looks like a good choice. I really like it.

Thanks for the replies ladies, I love the dress and it fits so well, just worried about the fact it's white. SIL is so laid back I'm sure she wont mind, but might ask MIL to talk to her next time she calls as I'm not going to see her before her big day. I just don't want to upset anyone. I will just have to keep my fingers crossed as this is the only dress I have found that doesn't make me feel like a sack of potatoes!
Thanks again for taking the time to reply.

i wonder if you could wear a blue cardigan to cover up the white top?

I wouldn't mind if you wore that to mine, but some people can be funny.

would she mind if you asked her?

Thats a good idea about the cardigan. She wouldn't mind me asking her, she may be surprised that I actually called her though as it's not something I have ever done. May emeil her the pics instead as at least that way she can see the dress in question.

I think it is lovely and I can't see any reason she would be bothered, go for it!
