    Hello ladies!

I've bought a dress to attend a couple of weddings and my anniversary meal here.

The flowers are a little pinker than they appear here but it is perfect!!

I still haven't found shoes yet but I'm hoping some summery bright red shoes will be around very soon. One thing I am having problems with though is what to wear in my hair. I originally thought about getting a red fascinator—however I've had a quick look around online and to be honest, they all look a bit faffy and cheap. And then I had the idea of wearing my wedding tiara.

What do you think? Is it a bit too much? It does need another outing but I don't know whether it's a bit bling for a flowery dress!

    Opinions much appreciated! xxx

Salma, that dress is gorgeous, and I think your tiara would look lovely with it. I say go for it. :D

I'll second that! The tiara would look really nice, and if you can't find any shoes the right colour you could get some sparkly ones instead!

That being said, I have found these shoes which are a pinky red (bit boring though)

Richard thinks the tiara would look silly :( Becky you're always good at finding things. Can you find any quality fascinator type things that won't make me look a complete berk?

I do like those shoes as the heel is a sensible-ish height! They look like sweets! Would love some peep toe shoes with a big flower on the front though! (May have to be a hair clip job like my sister's shoes for the wedding!)

I can't wait to wear the dress but surprise surprise it doesn't quite do up yet... I've got until 31st March!

Instead of a fascinator you could always get a really nice hair clip and wear it on one side. Mimco usually have lots of nice Art Deco style clips in red, but I had a quick look on the House of Fraser website and can't see many at the moment. Might be worth a look in store!

I'll keep my eyes peeled :)

Johnny loves Rosie have a sale on and they have some rather exquisite looking flower hairpieces that you might like. I SO nearly bought one but am being restrained. Just. :)

Oooh I've never heard of this site before...

    This made me laugh:

However I do rather like this but I don't know whether it would suit my hair, seeing as I got it cut back into an angular bob again a while ago!

Go on. You know you want the bow...

I love the dimante trim ivory flowers but just do not need them remotely.

Just IMAGINE if I wore the bow...

Yes I noticed how beautiful the ivory flowers were! ... Alas I also do not need them remotely.

Salma, give yourself a trial run with your dress and tiara and see how you feel with it all together.

Ha ha you should definitely go for that bow!!! :D

I like the red flower, but I think I prefer this one:

It's described as pink but looks quite red to me...

Actually it's probably very close to the colour of the flowers on the dress. It's a bit more subtle compared to the BIG NETTED FLOWER. :) Hmm I still don't know what to do. Maybe I'll wait and see what my shoes are like. I might go all crazy with the shoes rather than just a plain colour and so perhaps my hairpiece could coordinate with the shoes... we shall see! Thanks all for your advice. As usual I shall keep you updated. :)
