Our Provencal Garden Wedding

Morning all!
Well with 85 days to go (eek - can I turn off that ticker?!) and with H2B working abroad I have had a couple of weeks of creativity. So I've pulled together Millie's mood board and got on with a few things where I don't need his input (taking your advice ladies and not worrying about his lack of excitement for all things fluffy!). Had fun with rubber stamps, green ink and some beautiful handmade placecards (Cox & Cox) and then printed out 2 photos from each place we are naming the tables after for the table signs and will mount them today. Also received the vintage leather suitcase I'd bought from eBay, got my tiara from a lady on the Y&YW forum and ordered my shoes and veil..
Sooo, a quiet Friday at work means I can hopefully carry on on this tack and just by writing this I have got myself geared up for it. More later!

Well hello all and Happy Friday!
We have finally got our invites out around the world and I am so relieved I can get onto my next craft project! It was fun designing, printing and ribboning up the tags and designing a postcard to announce the pool party next day..

Let me know if you need any tips on what I learnt in the process. Main one - if you go to a printer who's miserable about doing a small print run don't let it spoil your fun!

Glad you like them girls! Was a bit worried that the older guests would find them a bit unconventional but it's more important to me that they reflect the style of the weekend. Did the favours today.. slight deviation from the green/ivory colour scheme but wanted to use lavender somewhere in our celebration since it's everywhere in Provence. So we have our purple and white M&Ms (managed to keep my consumption in single figures while divvying them up! ) in organza bags with a sprig of lavender and a little thank you tag. Here they are..

just a miserable bunch of guys working in the print shop I had to use because it was near work. I was so excited to see the finished product but having it shoved back at me and being grunted at was less than fun! No, we can't cut it for you. no, we don't have heavy card - you'll have to go and buy that yourself, no we can't change the colour of your typeface etc etc. As I say I was only doing £30 worth and they probably want corporate stuff but if we ever need anything done in a hurry at work I will make sure we don't use them!

The M&Ms with lavendar and tag look amazing, you've done such a good job in particular well done for not eating them all - I definitely couldn't have resisted!! :lol:
