Just thought Id post on here about something I bought last year for a friend, they haven't any listed on ebay at the moment but they do have a website although it is not very good. I have emailed to see if I can get one made for my wedding as it was gorgeous, it was an anklet in the old new borrowed blue theme. they also had listed bracelets for bridesmaids flower girls etc as thank you's, they were really helpful when I ordered last year and I had the item within 3 days, very reasonably priced and really good idea xx

So what is everyone having as their old, new, borrowed, blue? I know most people tend to say their garter is the something blue and their wedding dress is the something new, but I know there are lots of different ideas!

I've not sorted mine yet, but I have brought my wedding dress, so that can be my something new I suppose. I might ask my maid of honour if I can borrow her tiara and/or veil as she got married last year. Her colour theme was blue and white (West Bromwich Albion themed!) so her tiara has blue in it (subtle), so if that was ok I could have a borrowed and blue all in one! Something old I'm not sure of yet.

Must also get a lucky sixpence to go in my shoe as well! Hehe!

i hadn't really thought about it!

my old is my necklace, which my grandma gave me when i was tiny.

i suppose my dress is the new!

borrowed, i haven't a clue, but i'm sure someone will lend me something.

and i would like someone to give me a fiver as my blue, because i need the money and i don't like blue as a colour!! :D :D

i think i can class my dress as old as im getting it two years before my wedding, blue will be my flowers as our colours are pale blue and silver.
As for borrowed and new i have no idea.

My dress will be my new, but for my borrow, blue and old, my Mum has given me a hankichief that she was given for good luck on her wedding day, nearly 40 years ago.

Easy vhc, i'm 34 too, we are NOT old [IMG] ! One of the reasons we're getting married this July is because I refused to get married after 35! Would say that you're only as old as the man you feel but that makes me 43, lol!!!!

I have the opposite problem im treated like a child whenever i go dress shopping just because im 20, it is silly. I refuse to buy a dress from someone that treats me like that so i guess they are the ones losing out in the end.

If I am only as old as the man I feel then I am not even 30 yet. Awesome. Juliak I love you :)

Dani - come shopping with me and they'll probably assume i'm your mother LOL

    NEW: Dress, Boots etc
Borrowed: No idea - was planning on Mam's veil but she borrowed hers and returned it so have to think again.

    Hi everyone,

For new i have my dress
For Blue i have a ribbon
    Borrowed i have no idea

For old i am hoping to use a ring which my nan left me when she died.
It's too big and i don't want to get it resized and already have a necklace to wear so i don't know how to use it.
    Please help with ideas

Could you use it attached to a bracelet, your hair accessory or your garter maybe?

Keep pressing post before i've finished....

Old - I'm wearing my nans' pearl necklace which she left me when she died and my dress is vintage (h2b is getting on too).

    New - My shoes

Borrowed - My mum is kindly lending me her pearl earings to match the necklace

Blue - I'm really gutted that we're having a civil ceremony, purely because when I saw the "I Do" shoe stickers I wanted them (just asked h2b if I could kneel in the registry office, think the reply was no). Due to my dress I can't wear a garter and I've already got my underwear. On the glittery, sticky theme I found a blue, blingy, heart-shaped body sticker which i'm going to hide on me somewhere!
