I had my hair and make up trial yesterday and was really pleased.

My Mum was not sure about the height of my hair and I do not have a great close up of my make up as she changed it slightly for me at the end.

Can I have your thoughts please.

I think it looks gorgeous!! Love your hair do. Only thing I would say is make sure your hairdresser uses blonde grips on the day of the wedding. She probably will do & only used dark ones for the trial but it really is a stunning updo. Are you having a veil? x

Thank you - it is hard as I had no-one to show it to last night and pics are not always the same.

My Mum said about the hair grips too and as I am not having a veil she will need to hide them better.

It is odd because from the front it doesn't look high at all but from the side and back it is amazingly high. I think I love it!

    wow.. fabulous!
agree with the grips comment :)

I'm not having a veil either, so I went to Primark and bought a set of pearl and seed bead stretchy bracelets (for £1).
I then cut one of the pearl bracelets up and threaded the pearls onto the grips going in my hair to add a bit of interest and just in case the grip ends show at least they will show something nice!

    just a thought B)

that is a great idea with the pearls . I just enlarged your first picture and mrsg2b2011 is right your lashes look really long. I was going to go for half up half down but im not so sure now after seeing how great an up do looks.

Thank you for all your kind comments.

They are just my eye lashes - think i may have a few individual ones added on the day - just for a bit more glamour!

I was thinking about getting these made to match my earrings as I am having a matching bracelet made too incorporating the purple. Do you think they are too large?

    they are beautiful.
I think it will depend on how many you have, if you have to have a few pins quite close together then maybe you should use both the blonde pins and the pearl clusters so it doesnt look too cluttered.
