Wow, you've got loads sorted, sounds like it's all under control :)

We're getting married at The Hunting Lodge at Adlington Hall Adlington Hall. We get a package deal, so most of what we need to sort out supplier wise is already sorted, just have to decide what we actually want them to do!

I have however already bought my dress in a moment of impulsiveness :D

I have 7 months to go, lots still to sort out and I'm at the 'can no longer be arsed' stage! :)

    Still to be sorted is:

    Seamstress for dress alterations
    Veil, hoop, all other accessories!
    Rings
    Cake
    Hair and make up
    Flowers
    Invitations
Hotel booking for night before and night of wedding
    Music for everything!
    Suits
Gifts for best men and parents
    Readings and vow choices
    Final menu and drinks choices

That is all I can think of at the moment. I feel SO stressed with it all. H2B is useless when it comes to organising so he has been zero help, work is crap at the moment, I still need to lose 2 stone and we have barely saved half of the money we need.

Sorry, on a bit of a downer this evening!

Chin up! It'll all be fine and lovely in the end :)
If I were you I'd delegate jobs to h2b that he can't balls up. He should help out too in my opinion, neils been pretty helpful so far :D

hpsauce, pick 1 thing you know you can achieve and might like to do, then plan to get it done. It will make you feel better.

I think every bride goes through this stage, you have lost the really excited bit but still just that bit too far away to get really excited!! But it will come back trust me (it did for me, and every other bride I know went through the same and told me it would be ok!!)

I agree with mrs brown, I lose wedding motivation often coz my wedding is so far away, but then one little thing will set it off again and I'm back on it :)

    You'll get there :D

Thanks everyone, I know deep down you are all right and it will get sorted eventually but no I'm not feeling any better about it all today! I woke up with a stye on my eye too so look ridiculous and it hurts. :)

Part of the issue is money, I can't afford to pay £150 plus for hair and make up and on my tight budget £50 for a bouquet is extortionate but they are around the lowest prices I have been quoted!

I was a bit harsh on h2b, he has helped but I feel like I'm constantly nagging him to get things done so would rather do it myself!

I'll just be glad when the wedding is over and I can enjoy being married at last!

    Hi HPSauce,

What is in your bouquet, and I will let you know my thoughts, and suggest how you may be able to bring the price down

    Take care

My quotes have been for a simple cream/ivory gerbera bouquet! I would ideally like a few dottings of a small purple flower in there too but no idea what. My flower knowledge isn't very good!

    Thanks for your help. :(
