perhaps go to tesco or peacocks or somewhere similar, buy a cheapo cushion and pinch the insides & cut to fit? Or if you want to be posh then buy the cheapest feather pillow you can get and pinch the feathers but this may be messy! :)

As we picked up the rings yesterday, and Becky has asked to see a photo, I thought I'd put one on this very appropriate thread!!

    Enjoy!!

Although what's annoying is we think Richard's may have to be shrunk a half size - which I think it going to be very hard due to its design!! It fitted perfectly before... curious! I just hope it doesn't get ruined!! Mine is an astoundingly perfect fit, and looks amazing with my engagement ring. Here it is:

(p.s. Still haven't got any further with the ring cushion itself! Boo!)

Ooh pictures! Your wedding ring is going to look gorgeous next to that beautiful engagement ring!

P.S. I love Jenny Jones, and can quite happily spend ages looking at everything - it's like an Aladdin's cave!!

Those look fab, Becky's right, your rings will look gorgeous together. Ace!

I was chatting to a lady yesterday who reckons she can match my engagement ring, which is ace. It has baguette shaped diamonds on the band, and she reckons she can match them in my wedding band. woooop!!!

Can we have pictures of practice ring cushion action when its finished please :)

Thanks guys. I want to wear my ring now!!!
Baguette shaped diamonds! Sounds interesting! I'd love to see a picture of those!!

Must find a sewing machine to borrow soon so I can get this ring cushion show on the road... currently I'm nursing a horrible cold whilst still having to work evenings (us freelancers can't phone in sick unfortunately...) but as least I've got Rupert snuggled up next to me for company :)

Yeah I found my ring amongst the treasures!! Apparently it had been there a good few years - and to get made new would have been more than double the price! And it's a perfect fit - so obviously meant to be! Richard had his made bespoke as he knew exactly what he wanted and couldn't find it anywhere.

What's more is that the hairdressers Richard and I go to recommended the place - the owner of Jenny Jones is the wife of someone who did Richard's hair once - so she gave us a really good deal!

We didn't even have to look anywhere else for rings! Our wedding organisation seems to be a crazy series of firsts!!

Hooray for Rupert! He'll make you feel better. I've got a horrible cold too, so I know how you feel, it sucks!

Fingers crossed I'm not being technologically incompetent, there should be a picture of my engagement ring on this very post, complete with baguette shaped diamonds :)

So I've found an eve more perfect ring cushion... I'm not getting anywhere with making mine because I just don't have the time. I found it on Etsy. Here it is:

I've asked if it can be made with an ivory pillow but with exactly the same rosettes. Is over £60 including delivery a stupid price? It just goes SO well with my dress flowers!!
