I really liked the school subject theme!
There are some stainless steel 5oz scoops o ebay for approx £1.85 each if this helps.
I ordered the heart shaped blackboard place settings today and the favour bags! Not sure what to put in them yet tho, either retro sweets, dragees or a little keepsake type thing. It's got to be cheap tho, any ideas?

We are having a summery wedding so we came up with the idea of favour bags filled with flower seeds and a little poem or note thanking them for coming.

YES - ABC sweets. They are delicious and H2B LOVES them too. Perfect. Thank you [IMG] Any ideas on where to get reasonably priced sweet jars, or should i leave them in tubs they come in as its more tuck shop? Don't want it to lok tacky tho?!

Julia - I would go for retro sweets for your favours. Something edible always seems to go down a treat. I would get very excited if I received them!! Really don't like those sugared almonds - most people tend to leave those. Get a couple of big tubs of retro sweets and fill up the bags. Shouldn't be too pricey.

I bought the heart blackboard name tags yesterday. They are out of stock until 26 May but they have 20% off at the moment so ordered them now and got the discount. Can't wait for them to arrive!! x

    What a lovely thread.

Prefect badges are available in pink and blue from Hawkins Bazaar.

How about making some small pink report cards with a space for the guest name, how they know you and a message which could be on the table and then pinned to a board or hung with tiny pegs from a line? You can get mini file templates, I have one I am happy to post to you if you would want it to cut round.

Glass kiln jars - lovely round ones like proper sweet jars are in boxes of two in poundland! I was so shocked to see them in there but got a load earlier this week, they are with the kitchen stuff and as good quality as the more expensive ones.

Thanks poppleminster - more great ideas. I must go and have a look for the kiln jars, they sound very promising! We've seen the prefect badges with best man, usher, groom and father of bride/groom on and they weren't too expensive so might buy these as gifts. I think it could also be really sweet to do little 'report card' type things too. Gosh, everyone is soooo helpful and my mind is whirring with all your ideas. Thanks so much xxx
