Just a bit nervous and a bit excited so was wondering if anyone else is getting married this saturday.

At the moment im having nothing but trouble trying to sort out all the last minute things. Dress shop forgot to order me a hoop then tried to sell me one of their sample ones for £65 after charging me £125 to take in my bust an inch. I nearly collapsed there and then when they told me lol..

Off now to hunt a hoop. Taking the dress with me. GRR nothing is ever simple and plain sailing :D xx

argh! :D that's not what you need with 3 days to go!

I'm sure it'll all be fine.

Do you know anyone else who might have a hoop that you can borrow?

It will all work out in the end, good luck with your hunt! Don't get stressed, just picture H2B's face when he sees how beautiful you look in your dress :D

MrsA, I'm getting married Saturday too. I'm so sorry to hear about your hoop, hope you managed to find one today! I know exactly what you mean about nothing ever being plain sailing though.
I wanted to sort out my music for the ceremony and evening do at the beginning of the week but my iPod froze and didn't sort itself out til today, so have now done the music list and burned the disc for the ceremony room and have only just finished downloading songs etc and sorting out my iPod evening playlist!
When I came to print out my vows (I'll have to take a copy else i'll freeze and forget them), the recipe for the favour truffles, the CD track list and the wine bottle labels the printer refused to work, thankfully it too has sorted itself out and have managed to print everything!
My stepdaughter phoned yesterday to say that her mum still hadn't bought her a strapless bra, she's wearing a strapless dress, I had offered to pay for it but her mum said she'd get it....then didn't, so a mad rush to sort that out yesterday!
Also, my dress isn't fitting too well so have been on a starvation diet for last couple of days!
Are you all sorted with everything else?
I'm panicking but just trying to focus on the important things, like my adorable man!

Argh, what a nightmare about the hoop! Hope you've got something sorted now and are all ready to go.
Ju - glad your printer and iPod decided to behave themselves in the end. Silly technology causing more stress!! Sure you will look stuning in your dress.

Really excited for both off you and can't wait for some pics of your beautiful days. Good luck and I'll be thinking of you both. Big hugs xxx

Julia nice to hear we share the day. I am excited amongst everything.

Thought I would update you all on my stressfull week lol. Collected suits yesterday after getting there once and being told they weren't ready (with no phonecall to pre warn us) we were told to come back and collect them at 5pm. On collection we FINALLY got home after delivering suits like father christmas to discover that one of the best mans suits is too tight on the trousers, all the shirts are too big, my little brothers jacket was like he had put on my dads jacket and h2b felt so awful in his suit I thought he was going to cry.

So up I get at 9am this morn with h2b in tow re collecting all the suits and driving back down there where they altered them on the spot and we finally have nice fitting suits.

H2b then went for his hair cut.............he doesnt like it. Told him its too late now it wont grow back by saturday so tough titties lol. Yes thats the mood im in I love him but I dont want his stress aswel haha,

Just thinking of all the stuff we have to do tomorrow now and there is loads. Havent bought mens favours yet or finished the childrens busy bags (organised arent I) and im having beauty regimes all day like nails and eyelashes and waxes etc. Where am I going to fit it all in? Oh and I have to go and collect the flowers in the morning.

Stressed a bit haha. But cant wait for the day to get here. Praying it stays dry xx

My adrenaline will not stop running!!!!
I'm also hoping it stays dry, all the forecasts I look at say dry with white cloud so fingers crossed!

Did you get your hoop sorted?

What a fiasco with the mens suits though, you definitely did not need that, but glad they are good now.

My friends husband has got the icing for our cupcakes sorted after a lot of trial and error and calling an expert! I want the icing to be black butter icing and it was tricky as it get coming out a sludgy but we're having mascarpone, icing sugar, cocoa and specialist colouring with holographic gold edible glitter sprinkled over them all....It tastes gorgeous, have got to get raspberries and mint leaves for the top and make something for the top one, hopefully shouldn't take long to do. If that fails we've got a sparkler fountain for the top as back up!

Also got to get Kir liquor for the Kir Royale welcoming toast...I only found out after my mum went into Zizzi's and they told her they were waiting for me to bring it in, they don't stock it, as we'd allegedly discussed....we hadn't but at least I know now!

Also need to get some white flowers, put some ribbon around each stem and give them to the ladies that are coming to the ceremony. And some batteries for the bubble machine.

Having my nails done tomorrow am, got to get a few bits and bobs in town then home to wake Spence at 12 (he's working tonight, bless him) then off to the friends who are holding the evening do to put things together, busy!

    Exactly the same!
Spence is off to his mates for the night and the mates wife, my best friend is staying here! We have warned them not to get drunk though, a couple of beers is fine but I've threatened to go 'bridezilla' if he turns up hungover, in fact I think I just plain scared him!!!

Glad you got the hoop sorted, it's a bloody nightmare this last minute preparation isn't it???? Especially mixed in with all of the excitement etc. xxx

Oh no you don't, ha ha, it is sooo stressful!
Seriously though, enjoy the time you've got in the run up and organise as much as you possibly can now, that's my advice!

I'm definitely up for it being a relaxed, enjoyable experience, I don't do well with stress! Neil's mum would have us get married next week if she could, but I'm not up for the rush (nor can we afford it!)
