    Hello all!!

We have just started our wedding planning.. We have his 3 girls as bridesmaids as well as my sister. I have already been for my first dress try-on and loved it although I'm sure I will like several dresses and not be able to choose just one!

I hope to hear about some of your ideas. It all feels a bit unreal at the moment as the wedding is so far away but I expect the days will fly past!

    xx

We are getting married at the Great Fosters in Egham. We are thinking of inviting 130 guests and had trouble finding a lovely venue that caters for that number without resorting to a marquee - especially as March can still be cold...

I tried on quite a few dresses and of the 4 that were my favourite, 3 of them were Mori Lee and the other one was by August Jones. I am going to another bridal try-on next Saturday but my main reason for going is to sort out what dresses the bridesmaids are wearing. I am thinking they should be in the same colour and same material because their dresses are slightly different and the flower girl will be able to choose an entirely different dress and not look out of place. The colours they choose will affect the colours of the flowers. Maybe it sounds a bit back to front but from what I can gather, they are going for a creamy colour so they will co-ordinate with everything! I wasn't sure about them being similar to me but I had a look online at bridesmaid in cream and as far as I can tell it looked ok...

I hope to post pictures of the dresses I have seen so far once I have found them online!! Do any of you have pictures of your dresses? What colour schemes are you going for? Does anyone know what flowers will be available in March and the colours that are out there?

I look forward to hearing from you with all your ideas!

Spring is a lovely time of year to get married, and there are lots of colours to choose from that will look great! I'm getting married in early May and have chosen dark blue bridesmaid dresses, and the flowers will be a mix of blues, purples and cream. Here's a link to the topic about my BM dresses CLICK

It depends on what look you are going for - green with pink is also a lovely colour scheme for spring :)

I think I have chosen the colour of the bridesmaid dresses - a kind of coffee colour and my favourite colour is red so I'm hoping they go together!! Not entirely sure what flowers to have with those colours..

Mmmm sounds like strawberries and chocolate which go very well together :)

How about cream and red flowers to go with it?
