Ok, I'm not very good at posting pictures in threads, but I really wanted to put all my planning pics together to see how my theme is shaping up. Here goes!

I'm getting married at Rhinefield House Hotel, in the middle of the New Forest. Russ and I are asking all the guests to wear black and white, and we've labelled our theme as geek chic!

Here are our invites, made for us by a Brazilian colleague of Russ'

My dress. This pic is of me trying on the sample dress. I get to try on the real thing at the end of July.

Here's my MOH's dress, which she's going to wear with a red petticoat and belt, and sparkly shoes. I confess to being a little jealous!

    My shoes and jewellery.

And here's a rough idea of what my bouquet should look like. I'm having roses, freesias, jasmine, pearled stephanotis, and hopefully anemonaes if there are any around. I've got a sample of the lace from my dress to wrap around the stems.

Most of things I still need to do involve bits for the reception, which is where Russ' geeky side will come out.

As a suprise, I've arranged for two stormtroopers to greet guest when they arrive!

Although I'm having different flowers, this pic shows the centrepieces with fairy lights inside. The room is a little dark, so they should stand out really well.

My sweetie table, which is growing in size by the minute! I'm going to need to go back to Ikea for more jars.

We're not having a strict seating plan. We're allocating guests a table, and letting them sort themselves out. Each of the tables will be named after a Justice League character, with statues instead of cards. I'm on the Superman table!

That's it so far. I'm loving seeing all the pics in one place.

I just found a pic of my wedding ring. It has our wedding date engraved around the edge in roman numerals.

Its all lovely! Your MOH dress is absolutely gorgeous! I love it :(

Looks like you're gonna have a wonderfully unique wedding, which is definitely the best, all your guests will be able to relate all the little touches back to you two.

I'm using this thread as an excuse to try out the camera on my new (to me anyway) i-phone.
It's my MOH's birthday soon, and I've bought her personalised knickers which I'm hoping she will wear under her swing dress.
My mum bought me a similar pair, with Russ' nickname on them.

Torrid. I buy all my knickers from Torrid when I can. Type it into ebay, they are from america so you might have to type 'panties' (I hate that word but not sure why). I wear really, really silly knickers and I am not afraid to admit it. I should probably attend a weekly 'terrible fashion errors of judgement' session but I just can't help myself. I love my dinoaur pants. Lots. I have them in several colours. :)

yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay my dinosaur pants! You can understand now my acute embarassment when having removed my smelly trainers and jeans, my hello kitty (chococat) socks for heels and being helped into trying on dresses, I had to flash those! I so love them though. So unnecessary they become essential.
