My dad posted this on my facebook wall last night and it made me laugh! For anyone who wants some first dance inspiration! Plus I love Michael Jackson!

We're thinking of Jason Mraz - I'm Yours as ours. We both love him, he's amazing! :)

We had Lee Dewyze singing 'Still the One'. The song is so appropriate for us but we really didn't want the Shania Twain version!

Come on ladies - I was hoping to inspire some awesome choreographed dances here!! :):p :p

We can't decide on our first dance either. H2b wants Take Thats Rule the World - but its so cheesy and sooooooooo many people have it as their first dance. We haven't got any songs that mean a lot to us as a couple so its really hard to decide! xxx

Actually, my cousin and her husband had dance lessons before their wedding 2 years ago and learnt the Time of your Life dance from Dirty Dancing. It was so fab! Complete with lift and everything! Love that film.dance/song etc etc!!

We might be learning it as part of my hen day/night! xxx

Originally, I was thinking of us having Paolo Nutini's Pencil Full of Lead and us learning a proper jive, but I chickened out - H2B ain't overly coordinated, bless him :)

Ooh, we were typing at the same time! LOVE Paolo Nutini and that song is fab. Would be cool to jive too. None of his songs really fit a wedding though - that I can remember. My fav song of his is Last Request - don't think so! xxx

I'm another big fan of Pencil Full of Lead! :) Ian reeeally hates dancing though, so that one is out sadly.

I don't know what I'll have - we're having a jazz band so maybe something like Moondance

I want us to have dance lessons for the first dance so we're actually doing something fun and interesting! We're going to be dancing to an old song from the '30s that I'm arranging for jazz band.

Don't suppose anyone knows any good value for money choreographers around the Manchester area??

We are having snow patrols chasing cars as that is our song. However I REALLY want to do a choreographed dance with my dad! Not sure to what song but thought that would have a different twist to the bride & groom choreographed dance! My dad is a bit of the showman once he has had a few ales so think it will go down a storm!! xxx

Nope sorry! Are there any dance schools round here? Might be worth asking there, as they'll probably be able to make recommendations.

I'm still adamant that I don't want a first dance, but I'm worried that people will think they have to wait for us to start things off.

You could always have a mini first dance - you both dance for the first part of the song and then get members of the bridal party to join you which should get everyone else up dancing :)

I just got trapped watching video after video of crazy first dances on YouTube - so addictive!!

    Thriller

I've tried persuading the OH to do something like this (not thriller) but no chance!
