Hi there ladies, i hope your plans are going well!

I just wanted to tell you all about my wedding venue,

    Its at latimer house
    http://www.devere.co.uk/our-locations/latimer-place

I cannot recomend them enough, at first when you drive up to the main house it looks beautiful and way to expensive, but it really isnt. so far its costing us 5k for 60 guests and 10 children, sparkling wine on arrival, 3 course meal and half a bottle of wine, and sparlikling wine for the toast. The table linen and chair back sashed in whatever color you like added, a wedding co ordinator and evening buffet! I thought that was an amazing price for what you are getting!
oh and a bottle of champagne and a room for the bride and groom!

So i've finally booked a date sunday 31st july 2011! my profile says different but i dont know how to change it:D

I've just been looking at pictures - it's gorgeous! :) You're right - it looks far more expensive that it is!

Are you having the ceremony there too?

yeah we are having everything there, saves our guest having to travel here there and everywhere.

childish i know but i love the fact that it costs a small fortune when for what you are getting its actually not too bad!

Well done you, it really is a stunning looking venue. If we could have found somewhere so nice for such a good price we might have reconsidered having ours abroad!
How's the backless wedding dress hunt going? x

    Hi Sez, what's your budget?

I got married a month ago - already! - and had a Benjamin Roberts dress. They are so fab and such good quality - but also pretty reasonable compared to a lot of designers. Mine has a MASSIVE train - so lots of material, time to make etc and cost £895. Also from the 2010 collection. That dress is stunning xxx

OK call round ALL the wedding dress shops and ask them their best price for the dress. By saving them the time of faffing about offering you loads, they should take off a hefty discount. If they don't then go silent for a second, explain it's the dress of your dreams and can they take your number incase it goes in their next sale etc. They will hopefully pity you and reduce it :D
