I am going to a wedding on Saturday and i have a lilacy maxi dress but i have no idea what to wear with it, my favourite bit of this thread is that it is sized 14-15 years old which has been a major self confidence boost, My moh has tried it on as it was meant to be her bridesmaid dress but i love it. I have pictures of her in it so you can see the dress.

I need ideas on what to wear with it.

    Thanks in advance ladies

Ooh it's lovely! It's quite a 'cool' shade of purple, so to warm it up I think that gold accessories would look really nice

Are you going to to the ceremony, or just the reception?

Sorry I just meant gold coloured - but if you're sensitive to gold I guess you might be sensitive to other metals?

A gold clutch would look nice! Are you looking to buy new accessories or use things you've already got?

I heading into cardiff before the ceremony to pick up a friend so it will be easy enough to grab some accessories.

I agree with Becky a gold coloured cardi/shrug would go nicely and keep you a bit warmer now it's getting cold :D
