    I've found my perfect dress.
Its called Autumn by Rosetta Nicolini but my budget doesn't stretch to the £899 price tag!
Anyone know where I could get one but at a lesser price.
    Here's a picture of it.

Wow, what a stunning dress, I love the detail.

Depending on how you feel about second hand, you could try sellmyweddingdress.com or similar sites.I had a quick look and this dress wasn't on there, but there is a facility for you to fill in the details of the dress you want, size etc with your contact details and if anyone comes on selling it they can contact you. Long shot though admittedly.

Or see if there are any bridal outlet shops in your region. I'm sure people are sick of me banging on about it by now :D but I got my £850 dress for £299, brand new, from one such shop, so it can be done.

In fact I might go and visit the pictures of everyones dresses in the dress forum, just fancy a bit of 'dress porn' :)

There are a couple of big wedding exhibitions coming up that will have lots of stands all competing for custom. Would be worth going, asking if they stock the dress and then asking for an exhibition price. You'd be suprised how much they'll knock off just to be competitive and get more sales than their competition!

On a similar note, get the numbers of wedding dress shops and ask them if they can order it in and a quote.

Worth typing it into ebay without the reference name as lots of people only know the make of their dress not the title. I just bought my Ellis dress on ebay for £150 saving myself a fortune from the shop I had tried it on at.

Good luck :D If I come across it anywhere i'll be sure to let you know.

I agree with Popplemaster, I tried my dress on in one shop but ordered it from another as they said they would do it cheaper. It only saved a £100 but thats £100 in my pocket?

Just wanted to say that I think the dress looks gorgeous and I hope you can find what you are looking for. Def try to haggle with various shops though. It def works. I tried my dress on in one shop and it was £895. My budget was £1000. We went to a couple more shops afterwards just to be sure it was 'the one!'. They both stocked Benjamine Roberts dresses - which mine is - and tried it on again. The shops all had different prices - the most expensive was £1300 - a MASSIVE difference. I asked if they could bring the price down or throw in a veil, hoop etc but they said that was the best they could do. I then told them of the price in the orginal shop - where I have ordered from - and they were amazed they could do it so much cheaper and were then offering me all sorts - veils, shoes, tiaras, money off - still works out cheaper to go with the orginal shop. Its def worth a go - I normally hate haggling but it works!

Good luck, keep us up to date with your progress xxx

    Hi LoubieLoo

I have the exact dress to sell. I bought it for my wedding last year in August & paid £899 for it. It's a beautiful dress & I felt fabulous in it. It's a size 16 but i slimmed down to a size 14 and it still fit perfectly, mainly due to being able to pull the back of the dress in or out to suit you figure. I'm selling it for £500. I have photos but not too good at been able to attach to this message, can always email them to you???
