    Hi,

I have had a busy busy day... made some bunting and started my seating plan and other bits for the table! I started at about 12 and finished at 6.30 (well I had had enough ha ha!!) I have done about 40 metres of bunting, i need to do 100!!!

The seating plan only has 2 tables but will have 10 tables when I done, it will hang on the back of the barn doors.. i am so pleased with it. The bunting will also hang in the barn, the purples were hard to match but it will be so high up no one will notice!

love it MrsBrown2b! it all looks lovely! Love your seating plan idea too!

I wanted bunting, but didn't know where to start in making it.. and the material seemed dead expensive (I wanted Cath Kidson-esque patterns)
    So I did without :)

Kel, I wanted cath kidson too, but also wanted purple colours so it fitted in with my theme a bit. I figured it would be so high up who would know anyway. I looked into hiring some and it was about £200, plus the same deposit and the £40 postage there and back and still no purple. The material has cost me anout £60 all in all, I actually ended up buying some sheet from George sale for some of it!. No one will know!!

    That looks fab!

My mum and I need to start on ours soon, we have already got the outdoor bunting as we decorated the village for the millenium so just the indoor lot to do!

Did you sew yours to the tape or glue it?

i sewed it, pinned it first then ran over with the sewing machine. I cut the circles out with pinking shears as couldnt face sewing it all. Good luck

I want it but hubby is not very keen, I think it will fit in with our fun/less formal theme but alas he is putting his foot down.
