Hi Ladies, Please can you give me some ideas as to what music you are having as you walk down the aisle. I am having a civil ceremony. I really dont know where to start.

We are having a harpist to play all the ceremony music which will be really nice (i think so anyway) and fingers crossed will keep me relaxed as i walk down with a very nervous father..

    Thanks

    Gemma

I had eva cassidy's wonderful world, she is an amazing singer. She did a duet with Katie Melula so it had a modern twist too. It sounded fab, though despite much practice we all got our timings wrong!! It didnt matter though

Depending how far in Powys you are Helen the harpist we are having is a young lady who is still at school, so is very reasonable. Its £100 for the ceremony and she has other packages as well. She is a brilliant player. If you'd like her details let me know and I will send them to you. xx

Oops I'm a bit late on this one! :D

I'm not completely decided yet, but quite keen to have the slow bit from Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin - I'll see if I can find it on YouTube. It's such a gorgeous piece of music, and really emotive. There is a climax to the piece which would be a great point to make my entrance :D (dramatic? moi?!)
