    Hiya

I'm not really into flowers in a big way, so was looking at a cheap alternative for a bouquet or something different. My colour scheme is white, pink and black. My h2b is wearing a white suit and black shirt with pink tie, I'm wearing a white dress and bridesmaids may be in a black dress with some kind of pink sash??

Anyway, the venue is organising some flower arrangements for the tables so I need to do my 'bouquet' and button holes. (Not sure if I can afford anything for the bridesmaids, may get them a wrist corsage)

So far I've thought of carrying a single long stemmed pink calla lilly (if in season)

making or trying to find a crystal bouquet:

or the pink and black bouqet

any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I think there is a thread on here somewhere about alternative bouquets, there were some great ideas on it from button bouquets to swords!

I've seen some made from buttons which look really nice, and some others made from brooches! Pics below :(

Hope this helps! The most random one I've seen was made with part of a motorbike...!!

I saw a pic somewhere of someone carrying a shaker style wooden heart with her hubby's name written on it.

Someone on here a while ago posted a pic of their fabric bouquet (as in made of bit of eg tweed/lace etc, not an artificial flower bouquet) which I was very taken with. I considered getting one myself but the package we've got in NYC includes flowers so I decided not to overcomplicate things!

She said she got it off Etsy.com but to be honest it looked like something one could put together yourself, and it would be easy to get the colours you wanted.

Flowers were a bit like this http://www.etsy.com/listing/64718574/bridesmaid-clutch-teal-satin-clutch but obviously made into a bouquet and not stuck to handbag!
