...get your minds of the gutter [IMG]

Are you planning on having a huge wedding where you invite 100's or people, or something small an intimate for just your closest friends and family?

I've added a poll so we can all vote as well [IMG]

Small for us for 2 reasons. 1.Don't know hundreds of people! and 2. We are on a small budget so even if we wanted to we are having to be restrictive. 60 people to the day ish and 80 ish people at night. If we invited everyone we can think of who we would want to share our day it would still only be about 110. single people are being invited on their own if they know other people to maximise the amount of guests we love that are there.

We're having 16 and a toddler at the actual ceremony, 25 for the wedding breakfast and 50-75 for the evening do. Mainly due to budget.

we're inviting as many people as possible!

We're marrying in our church, so we're inviting all the congregation, then family and friends etc.
then after the church service there's a huge buffet for everyone in the church.
it makes it much cheaper because we only have to pay for the food!

we're having an evening disco, but not so many people will come to that (most of our church friends are quite old! [IMG] )

we're having it in a local members' club, so it's very cheap and the room is large.
(and there's a paying bar so we don't have to fork out on shedloads of drinks)

if we'd done it with a catered sit-down lunch and reception, then we wouldn't have been able to afford to invite more than 70 people!

We are getting married abroad so only about 10 to the actual wedding. When we get back we are having a bit of a party and hog and beef roast (we have lots of beef cattle lol) for about 200, probably in a barn if I can clean it sufficiently! :D

We've got 103 for the ceremony and 125 for the evening (22 extra!)... very exact figures!

We were originally going to have a small (ish) cermony of 50 and 80 for the evening, but then mil2b made a guest list!! I'm more than happy for her friends to come and celebrate with us though!
