So is anyone else mad enough to brave getting married during a British summer in two years time?

i love the idea of a summer wedding but dread what the weather will be like big muddy puddles and a white dress could get interesting. How far are you on the planning front?

June should be fine but our Augusts always seem rubbish! Sorry!! I would love to get married in September, we always have beautiful weather then but alas its not to be ... we are both teachers [IMG] I went to uni in Cardiff and got some pretty decent weather there. Fingers crossed for you both xxx

Cardiff gets great weather in June it is quite built up so it stays nice but Llantwit Major is right on the coast and very open so it could get very windy plenty of hairspray on the day me thinks

I ordered my dress on Wednesday, i have started designing the stationary, we have a meeting with our vicar on Sunday and im still looking for the reception venue we did have somewhere in mind that would of been perfect but i just found out they are not doing weddings after the end of this year which sucks.
Im a nursery nurse i worked in private day nurseries and i would normally only get bank holidays, Christmas etc off but since i had my daughter im a stay at home mum for now.

We're not june, we're end of August.

If it rains it rains, I don't care! H2B's parents had snow at their wedding.... That was April! Can't ever guess so just gotta roll with it I reckon :(

I am getting married 14th July 2012. I thought it would be best before the school holidays so I can get loads of organising done whilst my little boy is still at school:lol: and can relax when he is off during summer hols! If it rains it rains, the venues is so lovely I am not bothered at all!
