Thanks your invites are lush, have found it and taken pics of loads of stuff, so will get pics sorted (I'm a geek who likes to fiddle) and then I'll create a whole post just of them. Also forgot (we are both Geeks) so we are having a home made green screen (2 lime green throws sewn together from IKEA) so that we can have fun with pictures of our guests after the wedding!

Will set to work should be up in a few hours. Oh and we get the keys to the new place on Tuesday, have the whole of June to move but planning on being finished in a couple of weeks.

Wow MrsO'Sullivan2be - you're busy! Pot pics for us to drool over if you get time.

Juliak - I LOVE the black invites. I blame it on me being an ex goth but they are truly awesome

Iprincess I have asked everyone for songs to!! Have one suggestion of young hearts run free!!! Ha ha totally appropriate for a wedding!?!  xxx

    I am getting dresses made
Invitations made (BIL graphic designer & h2b in print trade so totally free!!!)
    Brother or myself making cupcakes
    Making my own favours
Have also made my own place settings, they are names on a wine glass charm.

I am enjoying doing all these things as think the wedding will feel more personal rather than a clone of all the big wedding magazines & it seems everyone here has the same idea!!
So yey for bargain brides our weddings will all be the best EVER!!! :D

Ps Julia your invites are GORGEOUS you should be so proud, have you finished them yet? xxx

Don't you start on me Mrsg.... Popples already had a dig about them tonight, only joking. Did about 10 then had to have a break....back and tummy ache due to positioning!
You're so creative and talented Mrsg, can I ask where you sourced the bits for the wine charms???? I want to do something kind of similar.

This is the link for the hoops. I bought 100 1" wide ones. Any smaller & they didn't seem to fit around the glass but there are loads on there to choose from.
    http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_nkw=wine+glass+rings&_sacat=0&_odkw=wineglass+hoops&_osacat=0&bkBtn=&_trksid=p3286.m270.l1313

This is the shop I bought the beads from I got 6mm ones
    http://stores.ebay.co.uk/All-Things-Pandora

These are the sort of alphabet beads I used I paid about £4 for 400
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/200pcs-x-7mm-flat-round-silver-alphabet-beads-/180503365617?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Crafts_Beads_CA&hash=item2a06d6c7f1

This is where I got the bride & groom charms from:
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Charm-Supplies-UK_The-Wedding-Collection_W0QQ_fsubZ608813015QQ_sidZ124362435QQ_trksidZp4634Q2ec0Q2em322 can't see any more bride & groom ones but they have Mr & Mrs ones that are the same.

I also bought a pair of pliers as you need to bend the end of the wire to keep it through the loop. If you know what I mean:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Needle-Nose-Pliers-Silver-Gold-Wire-Jewellery-Craft-/130283902661?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Crafts_JewelleryMaking_GL&hash=item1e558696c5 This sort of thing but I got mine cheaper if you search ebay you can find loads.

    Hope this helps
    xxx

Thank you so much I'll have a good old nose tomorrow. Don't mean to be a pain but did you come across any unique type charms i.e. guitar shaped or anything. I must admit I havn't looked yet , will do that tomorrow too, but wondered if you came across any on there whilst sourcing yours?

Welcome to the site - I have seen it work really well with stones where the name is put on in gold transfers (really cheap in wh smith) and then covered in clear varnish. You can usually get spray varnish in poundland if you have one near you that may be easier than nail varnish :)
