Am I The Only Short Bride On Here?

I am a petite bride I am just about 5ft, are any of you ladies on the short side too??

 

Im short 5"1 never call myself petite though lol. bit round around the edges haha and hate the petite range in next etc... but no im sure your not the only short bride here x

 

I might have to gate crash your topic as there isnt one for tall brides (i'm 5ft 11)!! I guess we might have similar issues just the wrong way round!! I was soooooo pleased to find gorgeous shoes in a size 9.. i thought i might have to wear my trainers!!

 

Nope, I'm short too, 5'2. Although petite is the wrong word, I'm a bit too chunky for that!

My fella is over 6ft so I'm all about 4 inch heels for the photos! X

hi im only 5ft too. the best things come in small packages as they say! i always correct anyone who says im small and say "petite thank you very much!" sounds so much better. x

Im 5ft 2 and a half (don't forget the half!) and my nana (being 4ft 11 with a built up shoe on!) used to say when people mocked petite girls...'many big potatoes are rotten' ha! I loved that! and so true I think!

 

Im4 11 & 3/4 ha ha - my partner is 6ft 4"!

 

I'm exactly the same height and would say exactly the same thing about myself! Haha.

 

My h2b is 6'3 and I'm definitely thinking 4inch heels for me for our big day!!

 

I have the same problem as MrsBrown2b, Im just over 5'8'' so im not as tall as MrsB2b but i still have a lot of trouble with leg length, the top half of me is slightly smaller than average and my legs are way longer than average and to top it off im quite top heavy and only size 10 waist so getting clothes to fit is a pain. My h2b is 6'2'' and the best man is 6'4'' and one of our ushers is 6'5''. Im going to be is 3in heels but my best friend who is my moh isnt a fan of really high heels and is 5'4''.

 

I'm mini too 5'2" and H2B is 6'2"!! My mam is 4'11" and my dad is 6'2" They look so cute when they kiss! x

I'm 5ft 4 and H2b is 6ft 5 but I can never be accused of being petite. I get slightly disturbed as I am bbwshortandold bride 5ft4, 16 stone and shrinking (was 22 stone) and 37. Ugh.

 

ooh hang on, i'm doing myelf out of a year, I am 37 in October! Was mortified going into a wedding shop recently that asked me if I wanted to view the 'range most popular with older brides'. grumble grumble.

Embarassingly I have done this all year. I keep telling people I am 37 and have no idea why! The maddness kicked in at 35 it seems lol.

 

I've knocked years off for so long I'm not actually sure how old I am now lol

 

I'm 5ft 3in .. H2B is relatively 'normal' (in height only ) at 5ft 10in.

People mock me when they see me without my heels ... my favourite retort is

"the best things come in small packages... and poison comes in little bottles so watch yourself!"
