What a beautiful morning. If the weather is even half as nice as this it'll be so lovely.

Where to start today? I think polishing the silver cake stand ready for the cheeses. They are being delivered friday morning early: Vintage Oke Cheddar, Young Oke Cheddar, Devon Blue and Cornish Yarg with and organic Heart truckle of Godshill on the very top layer. Old, new, borrowed (from Cornwall) and Blue. All locally made to the sizes I wanted!

Most of the china is now packed and the glasses are packed. The drinks and food are ready apart from the fresh stuff.

Maybe today shall be my creative day. Finishing bouquets, making the teabag tags, finalising favours etc. Yeah, that sounds good to me. Creative and crafty weddign day. Oh and dying my hair - MUST NOT FORGET. Meant to do it yesterday.

I so wish my friends were down here. Although, having said that, it is quieter on my own!

Oh Helen... shoes.

I would love a tea length dress but not for the ceremony so have one for the reception instead now :) Well, one of them anyway ;)

Phew what an afternoon! After sorting out the various guests that have no idea now where they are going as the venue changed, I have also sorted drinks at the pub and cooking the gammons, pork loin and various other bits.

Then the guests started.. hotel bookings ahoy and the new venue has run out of room. Add to this one guest asking how much a cab will cost from Okehampton to newton Abbot to get a train on the sunday erm about £60 minimum! Why do people leave things until the last minute like this? I have to find someone to get this person to the station for a train Sunday morning when Newton Abbot is an hour away by car. Oh joy.

I could go on but wont as Ben & I are sat here having talked it through and deciding we are leaving other people to stress by themselvesd and refusing to get involved in other people's arrangements. We have our timetable, we know when and when we intend to be places, we've told people the details so it is up to them to get themselves to the relevant places. Anything else is up to them. This might sound selfish but otherwise we'll go mad!

Managed to get a company to engrave Ben's ring in time! So excited. They cannot get the date on but have managed the wording. This makes for a happy Poppleminster!

Tomorrow poor Ben has the dentist, and again on Wed too. Poor love has two fillings to be done! I am not sure what tomorrow will bring but each time I wake up is one less of being unmarried! This time next week and i'll be Mrs Willis. Mrs Willis!! A normal name at last.

Oh don't worry, the fake ones are obviously fake. Not made them yet but going to. At the moment we opted for sterling silver as it is so cheap at the moment. Ben has anyway, he doesn't know I got it yet. I've got a stainless steel ring from ebay - £4.99 and infuriatingly, it looks no different in colour at all than my platinum engagement ring! Someone told me to try it so I risked it and really, you cannot tell. Polished stainless steel. We'll make our own when we get time, probably for first anniversary.

Had a mad idea about Ben's wedding ring. I am tring to get it engraved by Friday! I've got him a silver box engraved with his name and a message. I'm going to fill it with 'fake' rings so that when they ask for the rings, Poppy can hand the box over and he will have to sort through all the fake ones to find the real ring. :)
