At h2b cousin's wedding in April they had picture of people (mostly off facebook) as their place names and they got everyone to write a message on the back of them. For ours we are having a photographer grab people as they walk in and get a picture of them holding up a message on a blackboard.

Love the tree idea though

I agree, the photographer is a really good idea for the guest book! I originally wanted a polaroid camera together with some props so that people could take photos of themselves and write a message with it... but then I saw the price of polaroid film!!

Bridesmaid dresses ordered!

Both will be in "Iris" (so basically a purple colour) and the same material

The longer one we'll get taken up so it's the same length as the other one and they've both got corset back and look pretty good next to each other. Glad it's sorted and they both love the dresses we've chosen so that's good too. Would rather they look comfortable and have a dress they can wear again rather than look miserable in my photos

Ours aren't finished... For the day ones, I've folded the pockets up and stuck them together (most annoying job in the world!) RSVP cards and envelopes are done, the gift list and direction inserts ready to go. But the actual invitation bit and outside design isnt done. And that's the biggest bit.

And then there's the evening ones to do....

We've had a massive push on invites the past week, with the plan to get them finished tomorrow. I've spent all day so far on them and they're nearly ready! Far from perfect but I think they're bloomin' brilliant, definitely a labour of love Get ready for photos!

So the day invites are finished and we've given some of them out and the rest are going in the post today (I'm scared by how much it's going to cost)

They've been a bit of a labour of love, but am really pleased with them, considering how uncreative I am lol

Now to start the evening invites......
