Yeah and I understand that, they have 3 boys so won't really be involved the same way at any of their weddings. But I think we've been fairly good at including them both (hence shopping trip etc) and we generally get on like a house on fire so bit disappointed we ended up where we did yesterday. Families eh?!

I'm pleased you have got it sorted. I wouldn't worry about people turning up in white, it is always obvious who the bride is (even if they aren't actually wearing the traditional white dress) and other guests either won't notice the other white outfit or they will just look at them and think why would they wear white to a wedding. If that makes sense!

Yeah, I know what you mean. I'd have got over it, but I'd have hated looking at it in our photos, it would look plain odd with an ivory buttonhole and next to the bm's ivory bouquets.

My Mum's first response was "don't worry about it, she'll be the one that everyone thinks is an idiot", bit harsh, but probably true!
