I am new here,
I am looking forward to gaining and sharing info with other excited b2b's. I got engaged in September and we have set the date for 14th July 2012.
I am really excited I know it is 17 months away but there is so much to plan!

Ha ha!!! I'm a veteran!

I got married in August.
You can see my planning thread on page 2 of the "planning your wedding" section. I'm not ready to disappear just yet!

Hi Jojo,

I've only just joined this forum this week and glad that I did!! It's really nice talking to people who are as equally obsessed with weddings as I am without thinking you are boring them (that would be my h2b then!)

I'm just at the stage now where I will be looking to find the perfect wedding dress and order it by the end of Jan so am quite excited but also frustrated! Posted Image

What will you be looking to book next???

Amy

Welcome to the forum. As you can see, we tend to like it when people stick around after the wedding to inspire us lot that have ages to go! :)

I have booked a venue close to me called Ashorne Hall. It is a grand Manor house which is used as a management training/conference site but we have it to ourselves for the wedding. We have timed it well as next year they are renovating the restaurant area/ evening reception area which is currently a 70's looking extension so it will be really nice by 2012.
I have no idea what type of dress I want. It is my 2nd wedding but I still want a lovely white dress.

Sounds gret, and excellently timed for the renovation! :)

Dress shopping is just so much fun! I went with loads of ideas about what I wanted and ended up with something completely different. Any plans to start the search?

I was going to leave it until late next year but it sounds like a few of you have started a lot earlier so I may go looking in the new year. I have no idea what I want so will hopefully be wowed by something on my travels. I think I want a ivory slim cocktail type dress but who knows I could end up with a red or gold full on gown for a change!

I think it's worth looking early - you never know how long it will take, and some places do take a while to order / make them :)
