Thanks Hun, so do I. Take them out of the box once a week just to look at them (and maybe give them a little stroke) ;)

haha I do that with mine too. And my invites. I'll be sad when they are sent (which I REALLY must do).

Woo Hoo have just ordered my wedding underwear - ridiculously early I know but like my shoes seemed like a bargain and I can always send it back if it's crap! What do you all think?

http://www.simplyyou...our:IVORY,size:

It's so hard finding nice underwear in large sizes (F/G cup) that doesn't cost the earth, i'm hoping it will be supportive enough, figure that as it has built in cups and my wedding dress is lace up then I should be able to keep things looking perky!

Also hoping my shoes aren't to high, but thinking it doesn't matter if they are as they are so pretty i'll get to show them off a bit. :)

Ohh I have this! I wore it for our wedding ceremony (but not the reception; I decided it was too hot that day).

It is lovely soft fabric (quite stretchy so you may want a back size smaller). I extended one of the straps and turned mine into a halterneck, I'm not sure it would have been strong enough for me to wear strapless but I'm one of the rare people it seems that doesn't like strapless tops! ;)

Oooh thanks for the review Helen, may end up sending it back for a smaller size then! I find the only reason i don't wear strapless tops is I can't find a bra to stay up! Hoping that as my dress is a corset back it won't be an issue - just couldn't believe the price everything else I had seen had been at least £75 and most were over £100 for something that looked pretty and would have a chance of staying up!

Looking forward to it arriving, although once i've tried it on and got one that fits it will have to go and live with my mother otherwise i'll want to show it off to the OH before the wedding and he wants a surprise and i want it to be new and special for the wedding too!

With a corset back dress you should be fine!

I kept mine as a surprise until the day of the wedding when I asked him to 'do me up' ! The choice of underwear was then approved! Lol

very nice. underwear is next on my list like yourself i struggle to find nice but not costing the earth, stupid F/G cups. I also need mine to be fairly low on the back as my dress is a bit lower on the back than the norm.

Hey Becky totally missed this it will arrive in about May!

Need some advice re:flower prices.

We've only had one quote so far for the following;

Bridal bouquet of 3 avalanche roses, hydrangea, lavender, tulips and foliage.
Bridesmaid bouquet of tulips & foliage
Groom button hole, rose & hydrangea
3 button holes roses
2 corsages for mums with freesia and others.

For all of the above she has quoted £150 - the bouquets are hand tied, is this a reasonable quote do we think?

Anyone have an idea about whether this is a sensible quote or not for the flowers?

Sorry iprincess. It sounds really reasonable. I think my bouquet was £80 and button holes £15 each and mums corsage about £25 each. My bridesmaids had wrist corsages. And they were£25. All roses. My florist was amazing but expensive!

It would be worth asking for another quote from somewhere to allow you to compare.. Ask to see some of their work too ie bob in before they deliver to a wedding..to see what they have done.

Your flowers sound lovely too :)
