Booked in for them to go and get measured and ordered in January. Which sounds in my head like forever away, but it's really not!

Phoned up the original shop today as had to change the date of my final fitting because it was in the weekend of my hen do.
She did apologise about not stocking the dresses anymore (not about phoning me back) gave me some half-arsed excuse about them being really expensive and they've swapped material so aren't worth it and that she'd have to sell them for over £300. I then said oh well we've found somewhere else to get them from as those are what Neil and me both like and the girls have found something they're both happy with and we want to go with them. She asked how much they were charging and I told her (about £50 less than she was originally charging) and that shut her up... HA!
She then went on to try and get me to come in and try on the new ones she's got in. I already don't like them as much and they could end up being the same price or more expensive anyway. "And they only do those in 40 odd colours, we've got 75" Irrelevant when we've picked the colour already....
Feeling quite smug really. She's totally missed out on a big chunk of business. Although purse is a bit lighter as I've now paid for my shoes

You'll all be gutted to hear I did it over the phone, so shoes are not actually in my posession yet!
When I collect them I'll get some photos on. Although I don't think I can be trusted not to wear them around the house for hoovering and the like beforehand. All in the name of wearing them in of course
