This thread is for both brides-to-be and veterans a-like! :D

I thought it would be interesting to ask - if you had to pick a different wedding dress, which would you pick and why? Lets assume that money is no object, weight/size doesn't matter, and your mother doesn't need to approve ;)

The dress I wore on my wedding day was slinky and glamorous. I loved it, but when I was looking I actually had my heart set on a fishtail. I tried some on, but they were far too uncomfortable for me (although the corsets gave me a great waist!). I would also have loved to wear a strapless dress, but I'm quite conscious of my broad shoulders and they don't look right on me.

So here's my strapless fishtail that I would have gone for if I wasn't such a slave to comfort and had smaller shoulders!!

That dress is beautiful.

I think if i had to choose a dress i would have the Ronald Joyce Livia, its a lovely dress but im not sure that it would do me any good but if i was a perfect size 10 then this would be my dress :)

Ooh I love your choice! The detail around the neckline is really pretty, and I really like the draping around the front.

I reckon we ought to bring shoes into the equation - these would be mine:

:D :D :D

But at £1,295 they are a bit out of my price range... not to mention I wouldn't be able to walk anywhere, and would be taller than my husband!!

If I was going to have a winter wedding I may have chosen something along these lines, probably in a darker shade of green and with a sweetheart neckline. :)

That dress is gorgeous, who is it by? Great choice :) I can't decide if those shoes are scarily amazing or amazingly scary!! Or just plain amazing. Probably the latter :D

I quite fancied a winter wedding with knights and horses and jousting! Hehe. Now to find some shoes that will go with that dress...

i think if i had the figure for it and budget for it i would have gone for the mon cheri (111223 - Annalisa) dress i fell in love with before finding my Justin Alexander dress.

I love this thread but am purposely refusing to look much or I will end up with a fifth dress. No more wedding dresses. Must be a good Popple.
