Those are both such lovely stories.
The thinking top of Eiffel Tower is cliché and then him having planned it makes me laugh. I put my foot in it once with a friend - I went to Paris and he joked about H2B proposing atop the tower and I laughed saying "No - far too cliché!" - only to hear - "that's I proposed!"

it was really good Julia (was sort of like watching my hubbie.. I forget the names but the one with a brief case ha ha!) I laughed lots, was a bit worried as I cant stand american pie but this was more funny and not as shocking for the sake of it! (I know what i mean anyway ha ha!)

We went to see this on tues too, what did you think? I enjoyed it, I think Mrs B sums it up q well. It's worth the ticket price just for the dancing scenes.
PS I can't believe this is the first time I've read/noticed this thread. Took me all night but now I know how everyone got engaged and that Popple has an engaged to be engaged hat. Is it official yet P?
