HELP!

Seeing as I've changed my mind (again) on what colour to put the BM's in and we're going for http://sophiatolli.c...cial%20Occasion "Iris" - if you click on the link for that dress you can select the colour on the right - I know don't know what I want to do flowers wise.

Anyone any suggestions for either colour, specific flowers or both. Oh and it has to fit in with the Alice in Wonderland theme, so I'd quite like something bright.

:D x

well for my AiW theme I went for just 'everyday' flowers... the kinds you come across in an english country garden .. LOL :D

peonies, roses, gerberas, carnations, freesias, some baby's breath .. peonies are soo beautiful my favourite flower and they smell fabulous

Obviously the flowers you choose will depend on the time of year, but you could use coloured ribbon or fabric to match the theme.
How about "smell me" tags!

I'm not an expert on flowers and don't know what would be available in September, but if you're looking for a mix how about something like this?

I think it would look really nice against the Iris colour!

Have you found a florist yet?

P.S. Love the 'Smell me' tag idea Frogbitch!

Ohh those flowers are gorgeous!

Also loving the smell me tag idea, that would work really well with Alice in Wonderland.

Red would look nice and bright as well as giving a striking contrast with your bridesmaids (and being 'Alicey'), maybe white would also stand out really well against your bridesmaids dresses.

Flowers that they have in the cartoon include roses, daliahs (these would word really well, in season in September and you can have every colour and shape), pansys and gerberas.

I don't know if you have a cake already but I found these while looking at flowers! Very cool :D

I would take some photos of your dress, your bridesmaids dresses and bits and bobs from your theme to a few florists and give them free rein to see what ideas they come up with :D

Cake is included in the package we get, so basically just have to tell them what we want. Might have to take those photos with me :D

On a bit of a mood board mission this evening - our venue is having another open day soon, so gonna take all my stuff with me and have chat with flower and cake people, so what they reckon :)
