No worries! It seems so odd that it varies so much from county to county ;)

Our Canadian legal lady(!) sent us a huge list of options that we could follow or take bits from and use. We chose to follow one of her (3) standard ceremonies then just added a few extras. We knocked off a whole load that was too soppy for us too. In the end I think the ceremony took about 15 mins, we didn't do any singing or have any music at all. We also only exchanged one ring as my husband doesn't have one, so that shortened it somewhat. As we only had 3 guests and it was a howling gale 15 mins seemed long enough!

Website of fabulous cake-ness coming soon!

Yes it was. That girl was so annoying that it almost made me want to cancel! They didn't show any of the downstairs which is beautiful and they parked all the cars at the top right by the building instead of the car park at the bottom of the drive. They could have had another forty guests by using the video link which connects to the main room from downstairs. They didn't seem to use any of the grounds either which was a shame as it's lovely. Pictures of it in far better detail on my facebook album. How dare someone so bratty get married at my venue! Lol.
