Charlie woke up at 5.30 this morning...groan...so didn't really go back to sleep after that, but felt that if I had, would have slept for a REALLY long time. Feeling a bit grotty at the moment, but think that is more to do with the weather were having - just dark and miserable!
on the upside Terry got paid today..woohoo...but on the downside just forked out over two hundred pounds for my car bill...double groan. Feels like we'll never save anything at this rate, and with christmas coming reckon it will be next year before we manage to put any money aside.
Have been quite good this year and I've managed to get most of my present bought already. I've been savvy and bought things as I've seen them on offer, and I'm loving TK Maxx so much because there are loads of lovely gifts! I just have to get some more things for charlie and for Terry.
Funny as it sounds I've been thinking about getting a metal detector for Terry for when he walks across the beach, not very sexy I know, but thought it would be a nice idea for taking Charlie "treasure hunting"! With charlie can't go wrong with Thomas things - but its just so expensive - just bought a swirly bridge thing from ebay and that cost 30 pounds by itsself.
Think I might have to raid my cupboards and sell a load of things on ebay - I'm way too much of a hoarder anyway and it might mean I can start my wedding fund finally.
Terry asked whether he should come to the wedding fayre with me on saturday, I think he thinks its just a woman's kind of thing, but I'm really eager to him to involved in all the organisation of it. My first wedding I did EVERYTHING, and my ex wasn't bothered about getting involved - big warning sign lol. Anyway this time i want it to be a celebration for both of us, with both of our ideas and choices we've both made.
Anyway, after explaining that it wasn't just dresses, that it was photographers, cars etc he seemed quite interested, so that is our saturday planned and I'm now excited.
Hopefully this voucher comes today from the hotel so we can book next week, were both really looking forward to that so much, can't remember the last time it was just the two of us on a romantic break. It will be nice to reconnect properly again instead of us both rushing around everyday with work and the chores at home!
